Coastal Finance Founder / Senior Mortgage Broker
Sammi is an inspiring and motivational individual, with excellent interpersonal skills and an immense passion to grow and develop businesses, people, and communities.
With over 13 years of experience in the finance industry, Sammi has gained extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in all aspects of finance and insurance. Sammi’s finance background started with the Commonwealth Bank (CBA) where she spent 9 years, beginning on the frontline and progressing to managing CBA branches along the Northwest Coast.
Sammi is a huge advocate for giving back to communities and has a large list of local sponsored clubs and athletes, local Basketball, Football, Cricket, Endurance Motorbikes, BMX and many more. Sammi is more than happy to assist local clubs and individuals to keep our communities fit and healthy with the support of local business giving back.
Throughout Sammi’s time in the finance industry, she has demonstrated excellent relationship building skills and is ready to incorporate these skills, along with her vision and values to excel and deliver outstanding customer service results. Sammi understands the importance of evaluating her client’s financial situation and can help you meet your goals and dreams.
In her spare time, Sammi enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children & is not shy to admit to loving a wine or cocktail on a Friday down at the local Seekers Café at the memorable Boat Harbor Beach!

Sonie Dawson
Mortgage Broker
Sonie joined the team at Coastal Finance July 2022. Sonie recently started her Diploma in Mortgage Broking and is now the newest member of our broking team.
This will only secure her knowledge to deliver outstanding knowledge to our self-employed clients and more detailed training about complex loan structures to help educate and build further ongoing client relationships.
Sonie’s passion for customers, thirst for knowledge and a drive to succeed make her crucial to the team at Coastal Finance.
When Sonie is not at work Sonie is busy with her 3 beautiful children (all Boys) and she even dedicates her time to the local Basketball committee and coaches the teams.

Cat Phillips
Senior Finance Broker
Cat has been a Finance Broker with Coastal Finance since October 2020. Cat is focused on providing finance solutions to all consumer and commercial products for Vehicle Loans, Personal Loans, Consolidations, Business Lending, Equipment Finance, Heavy Machinery Finance, Bikes, Boats, Medical, Wedding and Travel Loans.
Cat is super eager to create a relationship to give our clients the best outcomes for their current goals and objectives, Cat’s passion for her work is obvious through the results she achieves for her clients.
Outside of work and business, Cat has a toddler, two little dogs and a Newish husband (Newly Weds)2023. They keep her very busy, and she loves spending time at home, considering herself a true ‘homebody’. Cat enjoys creating new cool places in her home as she has a great eye for detail and loves a good low-cost revamp! Cat also loves to travel, and would you believe it was previously a travel consultant and loves to discuss options with clients about their travel plans and educate clients on the places she has travelled and is passionate about people being able to see other countries and experience different cultures.
As Cat is our Head Asset Broker Cat see value in developing new people to the business and is currently leading a great Asset Finance Broker Crew. Educating them on process and policy and encouraging them to be the best that they can be in the industry.

Charlie Bramich
Finance Broker
Charlie Joined Coastal Finance April 2023 as our Trainee Asset Broker. Charlie has previously worked with a conveyancing firm for the last 5 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge for conveyancing and legal. Charlie has just completed her certificate in Finance and Mortgage Broking and will be assisting the business with Financial Health Checks and providing lending solutions for all consumer and commercial lending needs for everything asset and personal loans.
Outside of work Charlie plays the local women’s football club and is a valued team member with the Wynyard Cats. Charlie is consistent with training and loves to develop and help new and upcoming athletes thrive in the sport. Charlie and her partner are both members of the Club and spend a lot of time volunteering and organising events to keep the club active. Charlie has also just left Australia for the first time May 2023 and has ventured on a Contiki Tour to see the sights of Greece.
While we are jealous that she has been able to get on a jet plane and see the world, we can’t wait to listen to her stories with all her clients of her adventures and experiences.
Charlie holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage broking and will be now looking forward to completing her Diploma in mortgaging broking in the next 12 months.
